Design & Consultation

OUR DESIGN PROCESS

We approach the design process with an open mind, making a point to thoroughly understand the customer’s vision for the project first. We believe that great design starts with great collaboration. Our process is simple, personal and tailored to bring your vision to life.

Share Your Vision

We begin with a conversation about your space, your needs, and your style. Send us inspirational photos, Pinterest boards and images of your space so we can better understand your project. The design process is an opportunity to level up your ideas with our creativity, knowledge and experience.

Schedule a Free Consultation

Next, we’ll set up a complimentary one-hour in shop consultation—no commitment necessary. During this visit, we’ll explore ideas together, share inspiration, review material samples, look at examples of finishes, colors and discover possibilities .We truly love designing great projects with our clients, it’s an opportunity to meet great people and share a little of our knowledge of the intricacies of our craft.

Design & Proposal

After gathering the details, we’ll provide a customized quote with dimensions, material selection, finish and provide the timeline for the build. We’ll also create a custom project proposal that outlines the scope of work and gives us a collaborative space to refine your design together. Once we have an approved proposal we ask for a 50% deposit. For larger projects, we may offer a budget estimate if a full quote isn’t yet feasible. If both parties agree to move forward, and a site visit and 3D design is needed, a 10% non-refundable design retainer (based on the budget estimate) will be required. This retainer covers: an on-site visit (within 75 miles of Kremmling) for accurate measurements, 3D renderings, two rounds of material samples and one design revision.

Give us a call or send an email to share the outline of your ideas.

We try to have fun with the design process, we love to use the old improv comedy “yes, and” technique to spur creativity and innovation. Sometimes this leads to wild flights of fancy but its always better and more fun than “no”.
